It was fun to see some of the Tuscany Travelers at TNNA. . . seems excitement is mounting! Jill and I stand in the booth all day. Our last meal in Columbus was one we always do, Pad Thai from the food court. I think this was a repeat of last year, because I had many deja vu moments yesterday when my feet swelled in the heat to the point of discomfort.
I think the combination of standing, salty lunch, not enough water, riding in the car for 6 hours and heat made a nasty combination. I went prone on the couch when the shop closed, with my legs elevated, reading my book. I was also able to catch up on some sleep! I'm fine today, but reminding myself to avoid this combination in the future when traveling.
Oh, yeah, I ate lots of watermelon!
