Fellow Travellers Week of Oct. 4-11,
Mary Jane, Deb and I are all planning to book a non-stop flight on United Airlines (UA 966) from Washington Dulles to Rome departing on Oct. 3 at 6:20 pm and arriving Oct. 4 at 8:50 am.
We will be glad to meet anyone else arriving in Rome on Oct. 4 and planning to take the train to Sinalunga. Susan has suggested a book store at the train station as a designated meeting point (more on that later).
Mary Jane and Deb are returning to Wash. on Oct. 19th. BUT, I am returning on Oct. 12th. I will have to leave the Villa on Oct. 11th and overnight in Rome in order to depart on United Airlines (UA 967) from Rome to Dulles departing on Sunday at 10:40 am and arriving in Wash. at 2:20 pm.
Please let me know if there is anyone else interested in staying overnight in Rome on Oct. 11th. I will continue to search for a viable hotel near the airport.
The round trip fare for the non stop flight is $1190.40 inc. all taxes.
Please share your travel plans, and if anyone can get John Travolta to fly us over in his private jet plane, please don't keep this a secret. HA! HA!

I've got myself reserved on the same flight as all of you from Dulles to Rome. (I'll be flying from San Francisco to Dulles on United also.) I hope we can meet on the plane and make the train trip to Montisi together.
Fae, We are counting on meeting up with you. We'll work on identifying ourselves later this summer. I don't think we will have any trouble recognizing fellow knitters.
