Deciding on Colors

I have been sitting here pondering what color I should use for the roots and branches when David came up with another great idea. I was going to go with the brown color because it fit with the idea of roots. When I laid the pieces I have finished out; however, the brown didn't seem to work. David suggested coloring in the vest schematic. First I copied it to my computer. I have Photoshop Elements and after enlarging the schematic with the zoom tool, I used the paint bucket tool to pour colors into the different sections of the vest. There seem to be strips separating the BOI and garlic/vines from the farfalle knot and roots. After playing with the colors for a while I decided to go with the light green that I used as the BOI background. I can use the brown for the separating strips which should tie all of the elements together. It was a lot of fun to see the vest emerge in color!
