I've gotten through all of the pieces by referring to both the written instructions and the charts--and with all of your wonderful help with corrections, but I cannot figure out the 1st row of Pavone. The instructions say the k1 between sections should be a CTS -- I get that, but then I'm confused about the middle section -- cannot seem to get the number of repeats to work out.
Is anyone else working on Size 2 that can spell out for me the written instructions for the middle section where I can get 7 repeats?
In the meantime, I'm going to start the Pillars section and hope that I can get all of the knitting done before I leave for Rome next Wednesday. I am looking forward to meeting everyone next weekend!

Are you working the first and last stitches as a CTS? I believe it works out--I've knit this size and didn't have any problems.
Do I have to work the CTS for the first and last stitch on every repeat or just the 1st stitch and last stitch in the middle section?
Just for the first and last stitch for the whole segment, not for every repeat. I have worked it successfully.
